As a Portland-based publisher of award-winning books of literary fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, Tin House champions writing that is artful, dynamic, and original. We expanded this website to showcase their books and authors, and other initiatives such as their Workshops and Podcast.
Leveraging retail data.
To reduce redundant labor and ensure accurate website content, we created a custom connection to the ONIX data feed supplied by Tin House’s distributor to automatically update the website daily.
Book and author pages.
We redesigned and added content and interlinking within the Book and Author pages on this site. This provides users with easier ways to discover books of interest, and also significantly improves SEO.
The Tin House Workshop.
In addition to their publishing business, the Tin House Workshop provides writers with various high-quality opportunities to develop their craft and sharpen their writing skills through classes, seminars, workshops, and residencies. We used WooCommerce to create a user-friendly way for users to learn about and register for the available programs that are offered throughout the year. Custom admin tools also help streamline the manual work required to manage and run the Workshop.
